Blizzard Race GS Ski
We got this one in a 188, and that's just how we like it. Built with a 27.5-meter turn radius in the 188, these skis are ready to rip some of the shorter GS turns that we see from a race ski. Built with a wood core and two sheets of metal, these Giant Slalom race skis are built and shaped to carve some of the cleanest and roundest turns on the planet. Ideally suited for firm snow, and rewarding of skiers with great technique, these slightly older race skis still have a lot of pep in their step in terms of how well you can get it on edge and carve through a turn. The dual-metal laminate leads to a ton of strength and stability, as the titanal laminates are very good at absorbing vibrations and keeping the ski smooth and stable on any terrain at any speed. The steeper the better for these skis, as that 65-mm waist width really hooks in and digs into the snow, keeping you confidently carving throughout the arc. Full camber makes the ski very responsive and smooth, creating a true tip to tail carving feeling that a lot of racers and high-level carvers truly love. Thanks to Blizzard's long-standing reputation for making some of the greatest race skis on the planet, the 2017 version of the Blizzard Race GS skis are an awesome relic that still rips.
