K2 First Lite Women's Snowboard

The K2 First Lite Snowboard was built to enhance and compliment the on-hill experience for new and progressing female riders. For beginners, progression is one of the most important building blocks you can have to instill the stoke in your riding. It gives you enough room to grow without stunting your progress. With the First Lite's forgiving directional TwinRocker profile, ease is the name of the game, especially for a beginner. The flat section underfoot provides stability and the rocker towards the tip allows for easy turn engagement and lessons the probability of "hooking" your turns--a common trait that tends to inhibit beginner riders. The First Lite is built with a full Aspen core, a species of wood that ensures a proven flex, durability and snap. Biax-Glass laminates is a smooth all-purpose performer with a no-frills design. This makes for a more responsive ride longitudinally and torsionally. A durable extruded 2000 base is designed with beginners in mind to glide slower on the snow and makes it easier to maintain desired speeds. This base delivers a consistent glide and is easy to maintain and repair. It also reduces the cost of the board and is ready for many seasons if use and abuse. Price is important as most beginners won't want to invest too much in a sport that they are just starting out in. The First Lite is a perfect beginner board for ladies looking to get into the sport of snowboarding without breaking the bank.
